If you are interested in volunteering your time/services in other ways, we are always in need of any special talents/services you might be able to contribute or donate to the PTA and students of LFES.

Affinity Programs – Help facilitate fundraisers, such as eScrip. (Sept-June)

APEX Fun Run-help with our spring Jog a Thon Fundraiser (May-June)

Art Masters Classroom Volunteers – Sign up in the classroom with individual teachers.

Cool 2b Kind- Work with LFES Chair to help facilitate materials to support this program. Assist on-site during lunchtime events.  Any questions, please contact Sara Ahern

Book Fair – Help with Fall and/or Spring Book Fairs with setting up, helping students select books and cashiering during the sale. 

Campus Beautification – Projects occur throughout the year, including weekend clean ups, landscaping, planting, etc. Families work together; roll up their sleeves to show their school pride!

Computer-Data Input – Assist with data entry of volunteer information. (Sept-Nov)

Corporate Donations – Help solicit donations for events as needed. (Sept-June)

Red Ribbon Week – Assist with RRW event setup, clean up, or volunteering during RRW activities promoting a healthy, drug-free life. 

Family Fun Nights – Assist with planning and organizing these fun events for our LFES families.

Fit Cubs – Volunteer to help our fitness program during lunch recess. 

Home Volunteers – Prefer to work on projects periodically at home.

Hospitality – Assist with preparation or presentation of refreshments for teacher recognition events and Teacher Appreciation Week.

Membership – Assist with the membership drive and help promote membership. (Sept-June)

Parent Corps – Assist teachers by working with small group of students each week in the area of reading.

Photographer – Take photographs at various school and PTA events and submit to Yearbook Committee.

Reader Leader – Assist with planning and implementing the school-wide reading incentive program.

Recycling Committee – Sort bottles and cans in front of the school each Wednesday morning, drive bottles to the recycler, or help place containers around at the end of the day.

Sponsor Water Bottle Wednesday to match funds for a specified week. Your donation may be tax-deductible. Your contribution is recognized during this special week and in Newsletters. (Sept-June) Contact Christie Martinez

Short Notice Volunteers – willing to be contacted on short notice for various volunteer needs.

Talent Show – Assist organizers in planning our schools popular student performance show. Help with ticket sales, afternoon rehearsals, or volunteer to help on night of the event. (Jan-June)
