Mid Week Update

We are making GREAT Progress! Together we have earned $11,030! Ms. Urquhart’s TK class is solidly in the lead. Who can catch her?

Why are we fundraising? LFTK8 PTSA has budgeted over $140,000 in programming for the 25/26 school year. That’s about $155 per student covering STEAM materials and instruction, field trips, PE and playground equipment, teacher support materials, library books, campus beautification, community building programs, SAFETY measures, and so much more. We need your help to make this possible!

How do we fundraise? Please review the Jog-a-Thon flyers and register your Bear. Please send a few emails, post on your social channels, and have the kids call their grandparents.

We are also seeking Corporate Sponsorships. If you own a business, have a favorite spot, or know someone looking to expand their market, we invite you to share our sponsorship opportunities with them. Sponsorships gathered during the Jog-a-Thon can count towards an individual prize goal.

PTSA Teacher Lunch and Board and Brew Day: PTSA is treating our teachers to a Board and Brew luncheon on Friday. Board and Brew is graciously offering us a family day on Thursday, October 16. If you want a good sandwich, head over to the Ladera Board and Brew. If you would like to donate soda, chips, or dessert to the luncheon, please do so here!

5th Grade Boosters: 5th Grade Boosters supports 5th Grade Science Camp and Celebrations. They are hosting a Panda Express Day tomorrow. Grab a sandwich and some fried rice. Don’t cook at all!
